
Katyń (2007)
In September 1939, Germany invades Poland unleashing the Second World War. Several days later, the Soviet Army crosses the Polish border. The Polish Army, unprepared for war on two fronts, must suffer defeat. Several thousand officers, as well as the elite of the Polish Intelligentsia, are among the prisoners of war taken into the depth of Russia. Their families are longingly waiting for the return of their loved-ones, only to find out not one of them would come back.
